The Language of Accounting | Live Learning Experience

This video is an edited excerpt from a live C1 Lingoloop class delivered on 19 August 2026. It has been included in this demonstration to provide a practical view of how Lingoloop approaches advanced professional English.

Rather than teaching financial theory, the session uses the financial sector as a professional context for language development. Learners work with industry-relevant vocabulary, explore how terms are used naturally in English and apply them through discussion, problem-solving and workplace scenarios.

For example, the original session included activities in which learners assumed roles such as Decision Maker, Risk Analyst, Compliance Officer and Observer/Reporter, discussing business decisions while incorporating the target vocabulary into their responses.

This reflects a central principle of the Lingoloop Corporate methodology: English is developed through the professional situations in which participants actually need to use it.

The content shown here was originally developed for a general C1 group and is therefore not a proposed curriculum. A corporate programme would be adapted following the diagnostic stage, taking into account participants’ proficiency levels, departments, professional responsibilities and communication needs.

All core Lingoloop Corporate sessions are delivered live and trainer-led. The recording presented here is included solely as a demonstration of the learning experience. Structured asynchronous and pre-recorded content can also be developed as an additional digital-learning component where required.
